Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Team Shield, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are governed by Dutch law.

2. The service

Team Shield provides a web-based workforce scheduling and payroll tracking tool for small construction businesses. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.

3. Your account

  • •You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • •You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • •One account per organization. You may not share accounts between organizations.
  • •You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Your data and content

You retain ownership of all data you upload to Team Shield. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your data. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store worker personal data (see our Privacy Policy for GDPR guidance).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • •Use Team Shield for any unlawful purpose.
  • •Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service.
  • •Upload malicious content or spam.
  • •Resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission.

6. Beta service

Team Shield is currently in beta. The service is provided “as is” during the beta period. Features may change, and we do not guarantee 100% uptime during beta. Beta use is free; paid plans will be announced separately with at least 30 days notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Team Shield shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be deleted.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you via email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
